All I have now became an infinite source of gratitude.

internet, my apartment.
Because of these things I can still work, connect to people and do what I love the most.
Teach yoga, pilates and movement in general.
I am still having troubles explaining how lost I felt when I realized all my studios were going to close.
How scared I have been for days after that.
After all, loosing your job, a job you love, is devastating.
I believe loosing your job in general is hard, also if you don’t love what you do.
Is like loosing a sense of security and control over your life.
A life that it took me so long to reclaim.
In the past few years I had to learn over and over again to be strong.
To fail.
To rebuild.
Deep inside of me I know this is going to end and things will be back to normal, hopefully to a better version of normal.

In the meanwhile if you want to practice with me you can find me on @alomoves (link in my bio - first two weeks free).
Or you can contact me to train privately via Zoom or Skype. Sessions are extremely affordable to allow everybody to move and me to survive these difficult times.

they are battling within themselves. There are times they may say something mean and hurtful... and our true selves can not hold in the truth for too long, it always comes to light. They may be trying to hide the truth from themselves, and when they speak those words out loud it’s not really for you, but for them to hear themselves. Just keep that in mind. It’s not for you. Don’t allow that energy to penetrate you. Instead be compassionate towards that person. Understand that we all hurt in different ways. And you never know what another person is going through.
