easy. At the beginning it was ok, but slowly it became more and more difficult not to feel a little bit scared.
4 weeks is a long time (and we have who knows how many more) and the number of people getting sick is increasing everyday day. 😔
I am doing my best to stay positive and use this time to do something that brings me joy. I am working out, doing yoga, teaching online classes, baking, watching Grey’s Anatomy ( I am finishing season 15 now), playing with @dobbyandlepi , singing from our window with @daniloberonja and face timing all my friends and family.
I think it’s important to think about our mental health too and for me this is how I manage to go through this moment.

🇮🇹Sono passate 2 settimane dal lockdown e 4 settimane dall'inizio di questa situazione qui in Italia.
Non vi mentirò, non è facile. All'inizio era ok, ma lentamente è diventato sempre più difficile non sentirsi un po 'spaventati.
4 settimane sono lunghe (e chissà quante ne abbiamo ancora) e il numero di persone che si ammalano sta aumentando ogni giorno. 😔
Sto facendo del mio meglio per rimanere positiva e usare questo tempo per fare qualcosa che mi porti gioia ogni giorno.
Mi allena, faccio yoga, insegno lezioni online, faccio dolci, guardo Grey’s Anatomy (sto finendo la stagione 15 ora), gioco con @dobbyandlepi, canto dalla nostra finestra con @daniloberonja e chiamo su face time tutti i miei amici e la mia famiglia.
Penso che sia importante pensare anche alla nostra salute mentale e questo è il mio modo per affrontare questo momento.
Ps. Oggi faccio anche gli auguri a mia sorella visto che è il suo compleanno e a mio papà per la festa del papà! Purtroppo siamo lontani ma per fortuna abbiamo la tecnologia ad aiutarci!

Honestly it took stepping waaaaay out of my comfort zone, teaching international workshops unexpectedly put some things into perspective.

Like, even if you go to a yoga class for a particular instructor, you’re really going because you leave FEELING BETTER.

I’ve been reconnecting with that fact and in my workshops, even though we’re focused on deep work, I’m keeping in the back of my mind that I’m here to create a good experience.

So if you’re a teacher, remember it’s not about you. Messing up cues, mixing up right and left isn’t the end of the world. You’re here to serve and in that, smile. Get your students to smile.

They might not remember how the serratus anterior plays a role in every single pose that was covered, but they’ll remember how you made them feel.
