Tears of joy and excitement that is lol - On that note: Chris and I took a spontaneous staycation down to Miami to enjoy each others company. Nothing like early dinners and throwing on the hotel robes to watch a movie in bed at 8:30pm. What I’m saying is everything unravels into YOUR experiences, your very own life that is planned for you. @joshkrameryoga Several years ago I was gifted mala beads by a friend - I didn’t always wear them, but I have always carried them with me

when I traveled. When I was working as a humanitarian in high stress countries, I would use them to center myself. My work centered around supporting communities to protect and advance the wellbeing of children. These children were always curious about my Mala, and loved examining the stones and beads. ____ I was so excited when aloyoga released their very own Malas and bracelets. Not only are they beautifully made (with ethically sourced stones), but they also support the work being done at Manjushree Vidyapeth Orphanage in the Himalayas. It brings a smile to my face to know that something I used to use to bring me calm when I was working to promote the well-being and rights of children in developing countries, is now directly providing financial support to that cause. @aminahtaha my intention for today: forgive yourself because you are doing your best. as a mom, during quarantine times, I’ve noticed

there are specific things that can easily make me lose my cool- like eating on the couch, (they’re all mess related lol) and I notice once 2-3 of them happen I start spiraling into annoyance and sometimes get stuck there. the worst thing about this is that it happens to all of us but the guilt that consumes us from not being “perfect” and “happy” is real. I’m starting to accept that having these emotions is normal, and instead of displaying a perfect facade of a human to our kids, maybe it’s wiser to talk to them about how we’re feeling. they mirror everything they see (see slide 2 😂) so maybe it’s great for them to see their parents as people who are okay with being vulnerable, apologetic, and aware of their feelings. so if you’re home all day with your kids, I feel you, this isn’t always easy and you’re doing a wonderful job. #yoga #momlife #livingroomyogasessions #quarantine wearing aloyoga #sponsored
